Laurel walked by herself in the dungeons. She pulled out a guitar and began to play. Her band mates would kill her if she came back without practicing at all. The music echoed through the dungeons as did her voice. She hoped that this wouldn't disturb anybody. She had come down here to stay away from people. The last thing she needed was for people to get disturbed by her and then her guitar taken away.

David walked into the dungeons with a flute and heard music as he entered. He recognised the style and thought that it might be Laurel. With that he searched for the source of the sound and found her.

Laurel didn't realize that David had entered the dungeons. She was completely wrapped up in singing and playing. Her fingers were acting of their own accord and playing new chords and things. She just kept singing and let herself get carried away.

David decided not to stop Laurel for what she was doing and picked up his flute. He waited for a suitable time to start playing his flute too, performing a duet with her.

The song reached its height, and gently started to slow down to the more romantic part. Still Laurel kept singing for all that she was worth. Everything seemed to flow, and she started to dance a bit because it felt right. Her eyes were closed as she played.

When the song began to slow, David had started blowing his flute and he kept his eyes opened, enjoy the dance of Laurel which was really good.

At first Laurel didn't notice the new element to the song. It sounded so natural to her, and it flowed so wonderfully. She left off singing, but she kept dancing and playing the guitar. Suddenly, she started to hear the sound of another instrument. She opened her eyes, but she was facing the opposite way of where David was. Slowly, she turned and saw him behind her. She didn't stop playing, but she smiled at him.

David gave a wink as smiling was a little difficult to do while playing the flute. He enjoyed playing duet with Laurel and continued to let their music emerge into a wonderful brilliant piece of work.

After a few more minutes, Laurel stopped playing. "That fit very well together. It's always nice to play with you," she said smiling. "I didn't even realize that you were there at first." David was very good at coming when she least expected it. "Do you want to play another one. You could start out this time."

"Actually, I dont know. Do you want to play another?" David asked her back, throwing the decision to Laurel.

Laurel threw him a reproachful look. She thought about it for a moment. "I say that we try one more, and then we can talk for a bit. That alright with you?" she asked in a way throwing it back. Making decisions was her least favorite thing to do.

"Gotcha this time. I know you dont like to make decision. But you did great. Yes, we should try one more time. Ready to start?" David asked as he brought his flute up to his lips.

Laurel nodded her head and put her fingers on the guitar strings. "I'm ready whenever you are," she said. She got ready to come in when it felt right. She closed her eyes again and waited for David to begin.

Laurel listened carefully to David's playing. She started to sway to the sound of the music. The time to enter still wasn't there, so she waited patiently.
